On 11th March 2012 we received a certificate of full recognition as a FAIRTRADE church from the Bishop of London.
At the end of February we launched our appeal to raise £25,000 to create, much needed, new toilets, including a fully disabled accessible toilet and baby change facilities. We hope to start work in August! Do help us if you can…..

We are sad to announce the death of Raymond Salisbury-Jones on March 22nd after a serious illness. He has been an additional organist, of great talent, at St Mark’s for many years.
The Bishop of London has announced that the new Bishop of Stepney is to be the Very Reverend Adrian Newman, who is at present the Dean of Rochester. He will be consecrated in St Paul’s Cathedral later this year. Please keep him in your prayers.

A well loved Pastor of St Mark’s who widened his services beyond church members to the rest of the community in which he lived,with his wife Monica and sons Andrew and John. He will be warmly remembered by all who knew him. Our prayers and condolences have been taken to his family.
